Unable to charge HELP

My credit card, which I have been using for 8 months without any problems, was deemed invalid by Amazon today. When I went to the bank and asked about any problems or changes in card, address and payment restrictions, I was informed that everything was the same and okey.

I opened a case with Amazon to solve the problem, but they said that the problem may be due to the information in the billing address or the card not matching each other etc. I've done all the checks many times, but everything is as they wanted. My problem still persists and I don't know what to do anymore. I can't even confirm my incoming orders. Please help.

I have encountered the same problem. I have tried several different cards but they are all invalid. It has been a week already, and Seller Support does not have a solution either. This is really frustrating.

Same problem. I have been using a Mercury Bank cc since February and everything was ok, Amazaon successfully charged it previously. But yesterday this charge method suddenly stopped working. Mercury said that everything is ok on their side and that they aren't even seeing any recent transaction failures from Amazon. I tried to connect cc of other banks, even European, but Amazon declined them too. I don't know what to do...

Amazon unable to charge my credit card

Hi everyone,I hope you're doing well. I'm currently facing an issue with my Amazon account and would greatly appreciate any help or advice.Recently, my Amazon account has been restricted due to an alleged mismatch with my credit card information.

However, I have been using this card on Amazon for the past two years without any problems. Amazon has been successfully charging my card on a monthly basis, and the card's expiration date is valid until 2024. I have also confirmed with my credit card issuer that my card status is normal and there are no issues from their end.

I'm puzzled as to why my account has been restricted suddenly, especially when there haven't been any changes to my credit card details. I have tried reaching out to Amazon customer support, but haven't received a satisfactory resolution yet.If anyone has encountered a similar situation or has any advice on how to resolve this issue, please kindly share your insights. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

unable to charge credit card (need HELP)

I opened my seller account Jan 2022. For all this time I've been using the same credit card as a charging method.

However; yesterday I received a mail that says "Amazon is unable to verify my credit card."

I did not change any information like card number, billing address, CVV etc. I thought there may be a problem with my bank which is Capital One, and I talked with them. Apparently, no everything is fine with them.

Also, I tried adding two different credit cards too, but the result was the same. "Unable to verify"

Right now, I don't have any solution, and I'm seeking for some advice.

While Amazon support has not been very helpful, the members of the Sellers Ask Sellers forum were able to use a process of elimination to determine the issue appears to be affecting Mastercards, with a suggested workaround to add a Visa or other credit or debit card if available until Amazon gets the problem sorted out.

Charge method glitch?

Ok, a new one today: 5 minutes after manually requesting a disbursement I got an email telling me that the request was cancelled due to invalid charge method on file (valid credit card, verified a couple months ago during INFORM, valid until 2027, plenty of credit available, same card I´ve been using for at least 5 years now, no issues).

Seller central shows “limited” account, and prompts me to update charge method. I do, and get same error. Change it again to original one, and it works.

PS. I´m not able to request disbursement again today. How convenient.

I´ve seen a couple topics on the forum with the same issue, not sure if triggered by a request.

Anyone else´s having this issue today?

UPDATE:

Tried to manually request a disbursement again today… This time, only requested from the invoiced balance, just in case. Again, same error a few minutes later. Changed payment method to another mastercard, invalid again.

Changed it to a Visa card I had on file, and the banner went away. Initiated the disbursement on the standard orders, and it worked.

It looks like the issue is with mastercard (again, all the cards on file are valid, credit cards, not expired, and with available credit).

Should we all form a letter of demand with a class action lawsuit. This issue has been ongoing for many years without resolution till this day in 2025. We as sellers pay for our listings with a fee, if they are not shown in a listing, this is auction manipulation where buyers get it at a cheaper price. Those who can view the listings are on your saved sellers list only.

I've had this happen a few times, and it confused me. One seller alleged that they had to use Amazon's services to make sure I got my item in time. I recently bought something simple, and the seller made a mistake. They'd sent me 3 different messages, one of them too early, telling me they hoped my item arrived in perfect condition. The next day, the item was marked as shipped, and I got an official Ebay shipping email. The seller was using direct messages to give me item updates. If I wanted Amazon, I'd have used them myself! lol
