UPDATE 10-10-24

It's confirmed! Amazon's extended holiday returns for the US will run from November 1 - December 31 with items able to be returned until January 31, 2025.

It's that time of year again when sellers anxiously await to find out how what Amazon's extended holiday return policy will be for 2024.

In 2022, the extended holiday return policy was announced on September 30, with an effective date of October 7, leaving a very short amount of time for sellers to prepare, but after significant pushback, the extend returns timeframe was moved to November 1st in 2023 - to exempt items being sold during Amazon's Fall Prime sale event.

Amazon Extended Holiday Returns Begin November 1 2023
It’s official - Amazon extended holiday returns for 2023 will begin November 1st!

Many sellers have been speculating Amazon will do the same this year, with the October Amazon Prime Deal Days event wrapping up today.

While the US site has yet to post an update, it appears Amazon Japan has already released their extended holiday returns policy - allowing items purchased between November 1 and December 31, 2024 that are shipped by Amazon.co.jp and Fulfillment by Merchant Sellers to be returned until January 31, 2025.

About Our Returns Policies - Amazon Customer Service

Very big thumbs down for the November policy. It should start Oct 1st with how slow their shipping has become along with so many delayed items. Amazon is a huge disappointment in general.

This is very bad. People have been shopping for Christmas much earlier !
This date of Nov. 1st is ridiculous. It needs to be October 1st. So many good deals are out there now ! Get with it already!!!

Two thumbs down to Amazon for this policy! Competitors have policies that are more favorable for customers.

I tried it to post an IG promo and it couldn't get past the selection stage. Photos errored out and required new photos. If i want to take new photos, i can make a better posting in the native IG post generator.

Can you export to a CSV file? I need a way to organize my inventory in the order I would like to sell them.
