Depop Shakes Up Executive Team With New CFO & Newly Created People, Culture & Impact Role
Etsy-owned fashion marketplace Depop is welcoming a few new executives to the team this week as Rachel McShane joins as CFO and Rebecca Levy-Lewis has returned to the company in a newly created role as Senior Director People, Culture and Impact.
McShane replaces Francois Callens, who stepped down as Chief Operating and Financial Officer over the summer. She joins Depop from PaySafe, where she served as CFO of the digital wallets division, with prior experience including Head of Corporate Banking finance at Barclays.
She announced her new position in a post in LinkedIn:
I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Financial Officer at Depop! Depop has been on an incredible journey and I’m excited to join this thriving community through its next chapter of growth! Thank you Kruti Patel Goyal and team for the incredibly warm welcome over week 1!
Levy-Lewis will take on her newly created role of Senior Director People, Culture and Impact in January, following her return from parental leave.
She previously served as Depop’s Global Head of Public Relations and Director of Communications in her four plus years at the company and was Head of Public Relations for Amazon Fashion before joining Depop in 2019.
