eBay sellers report problems with adding tracking and shipping label settings switching to print 2 per page as shipping glitches continue to plague the platform.

Currently, sellers say they are unable to add and save tracking details for labels printed outside of eBay.

Anyone else having issues entering Tracking Information? I can enter the number but the carrier and “save and continue” refuse to take information.

Can’t add tracking number!
Combined items, purchased one label , tried to add tracking number the various items -- eBay allows the tracking number and carrier to be added but the “save” is greyed out. Anyone else?

...Here is a screenshot: Notice the save area is greyed out. Had customer service call me -- of course, they know nothing about it and can't help. When I asked if he would make a ticket for this and forward it to technical issues , the call was disconnected. Ugh!

Some sellers on Reddit report they are able to enter tracking using the app as a temporary workaround.

eBay tracking number form broken
by u/dotnetdemonsc in eBaySellerAdvice

ust a heads up that eBay’s tracking number field is broken. Again. As of 1:58 EST (-5:00 GMT).

Specifically, it's this modal window here (see below). According to the console, there's a JavaScript error because of some request it's making is getting rejected due to a security issue on another domain that the form is utilizing. You can enter a tracking number, but you can't select a carrier, and the "Save and continue" button never becomes enabled because no carrier is selected.

The app works for me as a buyer and seller to check USPS tracking. 3rd party adding tracking numbers to shipped orders worked as of a few minutes ago.

eBay community staff have acknowledged the issue with inputting tracking and provided a ticket to reference when contacting support

There is a sitewide ticket open for sellers being unable to add tracking numbers and we are working on having that Tech Board updated. This is being worked on to be resolved and we do encourage sellers to reach out to customer support and have their account added to the ticket ALERT15135.

The more examples our Tech team has, the sooner they will be able to have this resolved.

Sellers have also been reporting for the last few days that their shipping label settings are defaulting to printing 2 labels per page, which is causing issues with the sizing for their label printers.

one page labels for bulk printing
recently, I noticed my labels are generated with two labels on a page. My printer is only one page. I don’t know how this changed back to generating two labels per page, but I do not see how to change it back. Anybody else having this issue or know how to fix this??

This is happening in both Chrome and Edge, and I have not changed any settings. I have not been able to fix the issue and so then need to go into the label reprint page in order to print them one at a time. It's time consuming and annoying...please fix!

A helpful longtime community member has provided instructions for sellers to change the setting back to 1 label per page when printing bulk labels.

This happens sometimes - something on eBay's end changes a seller's preset label size on bulk. One seller said it happens when they switch between using PayPal and eBay funds to pay for labels. Here's a screenshot of how to change it back if you're using bulk labels:

We've seen several other shipping anomalies reported this week as well, including extended shipping and delivery timeframes due to eBay changing working days and cutoff times without sellers' knowledge.

And eBay still has not provided any insight into what is going on with fluctuations in USPS shipping rates sellers have been experiencing since Friday.

About half (11 out of 20) of today's shipments on eBay, using Stamps.com, did not transfer the tracking number to eBay. Another 6 showed as shipped, but once again the tracking did not cross over, so I had to manually copy/paste tracking for all of these sales.

Bonanza promotes itself as "everything but the ordinary". The fact is that unique one of a kind items are slow selling long tail inventory. I'm not going to have a monthly listing fee chisel away at any potential profits. I cut my listings down from 280 to 50. The 50 that are left are ordinary faster moving commodity items. I moved the extra 230 listings to an even lessor known site called webstore. com. There is no listing fee and I've actually sold 2 of the items there since I moved them.

Closed my account today. Want to remind everyone that doesn't want to pay a fee for listings on a site that gets no traffic. When closing the account they do ask why and I told them my Bonanza account mirrors my eBay account. I get 1-2 sales a month on Bonanza, while the exact same items for the exact same price I sell 180-200 items a month on eBay. Why would I pay them $20/month in listing fees, I don't make $20 a there.

Ebay seem simply delivery is really rubbish, the whole thing is terrible and will kill off private sellers wanting to have a clear out due to the headaches.

Also the fixed £0.75 seller protection fee is not fixed as most adds ive seen varies. And the seller protecion is seems fake becuase ebay will already be covered for certain vaules of there parcels via the couriers insurance upto a certain amount.

Currently royal mail offer upto £150 cover for 48 hours delivery if they lose your parcel

So why a customer pays on average £5 for the buyer proctection plus the sellers postage charge which is £3.50 -£4.00 as a separate fee is strange.

So the seller protecion is not real becuase like many company's sending parcels there will already be an agreement in place.
