eBay Captcha Missing Pictures Blocks User Access To Site

eBay users report being unable to access important areas of the site today after a Captcha glitch left them unable to log in.

The issue appears to be that some pictures are missing, leaving users unable to select all of the images needed to solve the Captcha with no way to reset or reload the page to gain access.

I'm supposed to click on the right images, more than half the squares are blank white cells with no image, I click the Next button and NOTHING HAPPENS IT JUST SITS THERE

Now EBAY IS COMPLETELY NON-FUNCTIONAL I CAN'T BUY ANTHING

It's bad enough you make me fill out a captcha but now they are coming across empty. I can't see the image to pick and it's not letting me click past them because you make it a requirement to login. I eventually got one with missing pictures that didn't matter that I was able to get past.

eBay community staff are aware of the issue and have reported it to the technical team, but have not provided any update or timeline for a fix.

One user suggested clicking on the eBay logo behind the Captcha allowed them to bypass it - which may be good for seller productivity, but doesn't exactly reflect well on eBay's security protocols.

When the hCaptcha pops up just click on the ebay logo above it. It worked for me
