eBay Combine Invoice Request Changes Titles To Unrelated Item In German Language
A very strange eBay glitch is causing confusion and concern as requests to send a combined invoice for multiple listings are resulting in item titles being changed to German language for a completely different item.
Sellers who report being impacted by this issue say that every item in the invoice request shows a title that says Bogner-Winter-Jacke, TEAM-Germany, "neuwertig", blau, Größe 38 .
According to Google Translate, that would be a title for a Bogner Team Germany winter jacket - Bogner winter jacket, TEAM Germany, "as good as new", blue, size 38.
Hello. I'm seller, in Ontario. Request for total for stamps was sent by buyer, but each item was having a new identical title, in German.. as a jacket (see above), and price was decreased ... It's only happend to purchases with request for total... PLEASE SEE ATTACHED SCREENSHOT.
When I get a request for a multiple purchase all the items are named this. Each and every item. So today I have a request for 25 $1 cards and each one is named "Bogner-Winter-Jacke, TEAM-Germany, "neuwertig", blau, Größe 38".
Got one again today - combined shipping of these small automotive/mechanic tool items is common for me. but to describe a Craftsman 1/4 drive metric socket as a blue Jacket???
Hi-I too have this issue. I got a request for a combined invoice. The same German titles and very blurry images of the items purchased as is described in the thread above. The sale values are also wrong.
I am not sure how to proceed to invoice as the selling price given by eBay in the request for a combined total is not the same as on the original sold description of the items. Thanks for any help you can give as to how to proceed with sending a correct and accurate invoice.
eBay community staff have reported the issue to the appropriate team, but no additional information is available at this time.
It may be worth noting that eBay is also currently testing changes to the payment process that will allow buyers to request combined invoices even when auto-payment is required for offers and auctions.
While this could be a completely unrelated issue, it's not uncommon for unexpected glitches to pop up when eBay is tinkering with certain systems.
