eBay & Etsy Tell Sellers To Stay Tuned For UPS Strike News
As UPS and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters are set to return to the bargaining table this week in hopes to avoid a strike, ecommerce sellers are worried about what a major carrier disruption could mean for their businesses.
Etsy and eBay both made announcements today letting sellers know they are keeping an eye on the situation and will keep sellers informed as the situation develops.
We wanted to let you know that UPS and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) are negotiating a new collective bargaining agreement. If an agreement isn’t reached by August 1, there could be a potential UPS strike. You can get the latest information about these negotiations directly from UPS here.

As the national media has been covering, the agreement between UPS and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters expires on July 31st, 2023. Both parties have been working to reach an agreement in order to prevent a work stoppage.
