eBay's New Messaging System Is Down

eBay has recently rolled out an updated messaging system that displays member communications more like text messages and offers a more modern, streamlined experience, but users report the new messaging system is suddenly not available and has either switched back to the old system or messaging is just completely gone.

Starting today 10-24-22 , the messaging window center for messaging automatically changed back to the old school “classic view”. There is no option I found that out it back to “modern view” or the new view of messaging throughout the eBay Sellers.

I'm not the only one , am I ?? I hope they can fix it back to a new update. The modern one looks and interaction is much better than classic "email looking "

I'm also frustrated by the big step backwards. The latest iOS update mentions "New threaded style messaging"… New as of when, 1995? I can practically hear the dial-up

There are several reports across social media as well. eBay has acknowledged a technical issue but has not provided a timeframe for it to be fixed.
