eBay sellers are reporting a glitch in the Send Offer feature that is causing some major pricing errors.

It appears eBay is only accepting the first digit of the price entered, for example $14 becomes $1 and $25 becomes $2.

Ebay is sending low ball offers on my behalf! 2 items sold for 1-2 dollars!
Everyone have an option to send an offers. I have an Anthropologie curtains that I listed for 160 dollars. I sent a buyer an offer for 130. Buyer received on their end 1 dollar offer, that I have to refund and relist again. Today is again. Marc Jacobs t-shirt for 35 dollars, I sent an offe…

Marc Jacobs t-shirt for 35 dollars, I sent an offer for 25 dollars, Ebay sold for 2 dollars! bleep! I am loosing watchers as well. Even Goodwill selling for more. Why would I sell 160 dollars curtains for 1 dollar?

It is just another ebay glitch- no need to stop sending offers- its a great way to get an additional sale. This has happened to me know 4x in the last couple months. It looks like what is happening is that ebay is only recognizing the first digit of your offer. completely ridiculous that this self proclaimed "tech' company cannot manage the most simple and basic computing tasks.

Best offers is a great option and I sell allot that way. Do not be discouraged, just message the buyer and blame ebay-its their fault anyway. Annoying but the sales you may get from best offer are worth the hassle usually.

This is a glitch that Ebay is aware of. Ebay changes the offer amount on some offers. $14 to $1. $25 to $2. It is an error. Always, look at the right side of the offer you are sending to see the number in green. That is the number Ebay is picking up.

Sending Offers Bug, I’ve Figured It Out.
Over the course of the last 5 days I’ve had 12 or so offers that were sent out as $25 offers on my end, show up for the buyer as $2 offers. I called eBay and they said they were aware of the problem and opened a ticket. Meanwhile, it’s still happening. I just figured out the bug and wanted to sha…

Over the course of the last 5 days I've had 12 or so offers that were sent out as $25 offers on my end, show up for the buyer as $2 offers.

I called eBay and they said they were aware of the problem and opened a ticket. Meanwhile, it's still happening. I just figured out the bug and wanted to share on the boards in case anyone else is having this issue.

It's a costly issue and is 100% eBay's problem. Please see the screenshot below. It only happens when using $25 for some reason. When you put in $25 it shows up as $2 on the offer being sent.

I just called eBay and the rep told me they fixed the issue but this was just taken a minute ago so it is not fixed.

It also occurs when sending an offer for $14.00. They change it to $1.00. Had it happen several times. Also, often get a message that the offer can't be sent and then when I try again a few hours later, it allows it.

Unfortunately since this is an eBay glitch, there isn't much that sellers can do about it but savvy community members did offer a way for sellers to catch the glitch before sending the offer - double check where it shows your offer in green on the right side of the screen to make sure it matches the amount you entered on the left side.

If those numbers don't match, don't send the offer.

Have you experience this eBay Offers glitch? If accepted would you cancel the sale or go through with it at the lower price to avoid negative feedback? Let us know in the comments below!
