We do apologize about the sorting issue yourself and others are experiencing. This is a known sitewide issue that does have a ticket open for resolution on it under ALERT15574.

eBay search is experiencing an ongoing glitch when trying to sort by price plus shipping, making it difficult for buyers to find the best deals on the site.

Users have been reporting the issue on the eBay community forum and across social media for over a week, saying it appears in some cases eBay's algorithm isn't properly accounting for the shipping costs when sorting by price.

Sorting items by lowest price is not working correctly
Has anyone else noticed that items for sale are not being correctly sorted when clicking the Lowest price + shipping button?

Has anyone else noticed that items for sale are not being correctly sorted when clicking the Lowest price + shipping button?

It looks as though the highest price + shipping button is working correctly but the Lowest price Button is NOT working correctly.

This is costing in sales = lost sales.

I was able to confirm the issue when using the lowest price + shipping sort option:

Other sellers recommended to use Highest Price + Shipping instead and skip to the last pages of results, since that sort option does still appear to be working correctly.

Many people have noticed. One CM has advised to sort by Highest Price then scroll through the list backwards, i.e., from the bottom up. I've tried this and it works.

An obvious symptom of something going hinky is that when you change the sort to Lowest Price there are many fewer results than before changing the sort.

Unfortunately, many buyers do not peruse the community forums and may not be aware of the issue, let along this possible workaround, so they may simply abandon their search if the results are not working as they should.

And as that poster pointed out, eBay has had long standing issues with the Lowest Price sort option drastically reducing or filtering out results, providing a less than magical user experience.
