eBay Server Errors Prevent Listing, Printing Labels 11-8-23
eBay sellers report server errors preventing them from creating and editing listings, printing shipping labels, accessing messages and other necessary business functions on November 8, 2023.
Listing tool template has no box for entering item description.
Tried listing without it and error says description required?
Worked fine yesterday.
Anyone else's business policies disappear today?
I am currently unable to list anything, cause eBay keeps telling me I need a shipping, payment and return policy and all mine are gone and I cannot create a new one!
Cutting edge eCommerce in action here folks! Maybe eBay should worry less about AI generated descriptions and more about the 'blocking and tackling'...
I had a difficult time opening an item sold from the seller's page. I kept getting the eBay oops screen. I was able to see the item sold finally going a different way, but now can't print the mailing label. I was able to print the packing slip. A little help tech people. I cleared the cache and tried using different browsers, same problems.
My eBay message service is not working. Unable to send messages. I get this error: Sorry! There has been an error retrieving your message from the server.
eBay's system status page currently shows no outages.
However, DownDetector shows a current spike in reports.
There are also multiple reports across social media, though @askeBay on Twitter does not seem to be aware of the issue.
