As a registered Charity with Ebay we get a reduced final fee but do not pay listing fees or a fee for BIN. we have listed hundreds of items over the last year and nothing has changed until this week. all of a sudden anything listed is getting a listing fee put on it plus a 60p BIN now fee.

Have been on the phone to ebay for about two hours with various ppl including people from the "Leadership" Team but all I get is that yes, it is incorrect and they are looknig in to it" Its very worrying as with over 250 items currently listed these charges will serioulsy impinge on our fundraising.

It appears there is no way to contact Ebay for Charity directly and the ppl on the regular Ebay lines do not seem to understand anything about the Charity service..........very frustrating ;o(

EBAY For charity fees
Hi, I run an EBAY business charity account (set up 18 months ago) this is not a private sellers donation to charity but a validated charity account. obviously minimising fees are important. Hi, I run an EBAY business charity account (set up 18 months ago) this is not a private sellers donation to charity but a validated charity account.

obviously minimising fees are important. Up until 5 days ago the listing insertion fee was free ( 100 % of sale goes to the charity) however, we are now being charged a 36p insertion fee for each item. I have contacted EBAY who say this is correct and should always have been in force. I can't find any info on this in EBAY or my seller account. Is this correct and if so is there any way around it as it will severely limit the amount we can list. Thank you

Ebay charging charities fees for listing
Hi All I can see a few posts regarding suddendly being charged fees for listing and ‘buy it nows’ for charity. Anybody contacted ebay to see if this is a glitch please? My finance director is the person for contact and they won’t speak to an E-Commerce Manager. Any help gratefully received Julie-…

I have rung ebay several times about this. The call centre staff know nothing about charity listings. have been promised call backs but no one ever calls. Being charged 36p per BIN listing.

It's like watching money going down the plughole. I have over 700 listings all being charged at 36p. 36p buys a meal for achild we support in Kenya so it's painful. I am at my wits end.

Community manager Katie has escalated the issue to the technical team.

Thank you for your replies here and in the weekly chat.

I've been looking into this and am currently escalating this to our technical teams.

There is a good few Charity sellers here on the boards with this issue so I am adding all impacted to the technical report.

I'll update as soon as more information is available but in the mean time, if you are a charity seller on eBay UK, let us know in the comments below if you're being charged listing fees in error.
