eBay USPS Shipping Outage 10-29-23

Some sellers say they are able to print labels, despite the warning message being displayed in the banner at the top of the page.
eBay community staff have also acknowledged the issue and provided ALERT15047 as reference to use when contacting support, though this alert has not been added to the list of ongoing technical issues.
I just checked to see if there is a ticket open for this and there is one open. If any seller is running into this they can reach out to customer support and let them know that they are experiencing ALERT15047
If you are still unable to actually print USPS labels through eBay, you may need to go to the post office or use an alternate online source for postage like Pirate Ship or Stamps.com.
Sellers are also reporting problems with QR codes not being able to be scanned at the post office.

eBay sellers report being unable to print USPS labels or get shipping calculations for USPS services today.
Have been unable to print any USPS labels for over 24 hours......
Getting USPS error message when printing labels. 2nd day now, can’t generate label. Anyone else seeing this message?
Please be aware that USPS is experiencing issues at the moment. We apologise for any inconvenience and if affected, ask that you try again later. Had this error for 2 days.....orders piling up....any know what's going on?
Is anyone else having issues with the shipping calculator? I have this message and saw it yesterday too. I'd like to edit the weight bc I always try to give people a discount with a lower weight and then I pay the difference but it doesn't calculate the difference at the moment. I hope they fix this soon. Message says "service may be experiencing issues"
eBay has posted a banner on the shipping page informing sellers USPS is experiencing issues at the moment.
However, Pirate Ship and Stamps.com both show no current outages or problems with USPS.
We also are not seeing similar complaints in the Etsy community forum - so whatever is going on here appears to be impacting eBay specifically.
Sellers may need to seek alternate label providers until the issue is resolved.
