eBay's last Seller Check-In event of 2024 is slated for November 14th, with sellers eagerly waiting to see if a seller update will be dropping around the same time as well.
The event was teased in an announcement in the eBay community forum today as a last change to put final touches on holiday sales plans, which may rub some sellers who don't like Q4 surprises the wrong way.

Much like eBay Open 2024, it looks like most of what they plan to discuss at this even isn't really new.
Bulk Magical Listing for trading cards was introduced in July and is a very limited, poor substitute for the "just take a picture and AI will do the rest" listing creation tool eBay has been promising for all categories for over a year but still hasn't managed to release beyond a closed beta phase.
It was announced at the last Seller Check In that eBay International Shipping was expanding first to include Puerto Rico in Q3 with Hawaii and Alaska "coming soon" - so it's a good bet that's what they plan to announced in the shipping session.
They may also touch on holiday shipping deadlines as well as updates on peak season surcharges, with USPS throwing a curveball this week that will impact sellers who purchase labels through eBay.
It does look like there will be at least one new thing with an official launch of "Shop More, Ship Together" to combine shipping on auction items with "immediate" pay required, though eagle eyed community members have already spotted the change on the eBay Policy page.
The discovery of that unannounced change prompted speculation that eBay may be planning to drop a Fall Seller Update around the same time as the Seller Check-In.
eBay typically does 2-3 major updates throughout the year, with smaller updates and announcements in between, and the Fall update (if there is one) usually happens in mid to late September around the same time as the annual eBay Open seller conference.
While it's still possible a Fall update could be in the works, it would be pretty late in the season at this point and would be especially poor form given how much eBay is aware that sellers typically hate big changes or disruptions during the all important Q4 peak holiday shopping push.
Given the timing and topics slated for the November event, it seems likely eBay may be planning to release some small announcements at that time and leave any bigger changes for a Winter Update - which based on historic scheduling would likely be sometime around February 2025.
