Etsy Checkout Error - There Was A Problem With Your Order

The checkout error is still occuring with some affected sellers reporting it's been happening over a week.
On the 10th customers started sending messages to let me know that they were unable to complete checkout. Customers are able to see, favorite, add to cart but they get an error message when they try to complete checkout.
I spent several hours on chat and on the phone with support, they are unable to see anything on my account that would be causing this issue, they escalated it to Etsy Tech support. That was 8 days ago. 8 days of no sales = no revenue, not to mention the long term affects of my listings not being purchased and the algorithm lowering their ranking.
Ironic that Etsy requires sellers to reply to all messages within 24 hrs but sellers have to wait 8 days (and counting!) for a response.
I'm posting this to see if anyone has experienced anything similar in the past or is currently experiencing anything similar.
My shop have the same problem , I have zero sale at 10 days until now ,I contacted with Etsy support to reported the problem and send the picture of the problem from my customer and I had been waiting for the update from them as a week ,I don't know how long they will fix it or any reply back to us ,some of my friend have this problem also ,but it is very disappointed that they replied him that his account is fine ,event he sent many many picture of the evident from the customers who can not to buy it.
And Etsy community specialist assured sellers that the engineering teams are looking into the issue, but did not give any indication of a timeline for the issue to be fixed.
Etsy appears to be experiencing intermittent checkout errors with some users reporting receiving an error message that says "There was a problem with your order, please try again."
I have been receiving several messages from buyers saying they can't checkout. It shows this error message:
There was a problem with your order. Please try again
I have tested myself from a different account and I get the same error too. When I try to purchase from another person's shop. All is fine but I and neither can my customers purchase from my store.
Is anyone else having this issue? Have you had this issue before? If so how was it fixed?
I have spoken to 2 different chat admin, one said there was nothing wrong. The other said they got the same message but didn't know why.
I'm not sure what to do. I'm loosing customers because of this error message
I've got EXACTLY the same problem since Wednesday!!! Try to contact Etsy via chat twice - and got the same answear - your shop and lisitngs are fine, change web browser, let buyer contact us, etc - of course nothing help:( No idea what to do:(((
It has been 3 days since I reported that none of my buyers can checkout from my shop. It has still yet to be fixed.
I have spoken on chat, opened tickets to be closed by chat staff because ''resolved'' but it hasn't been resolved! Asking customers to clear caches and updating browsers does not work.
When my buyers click to checkout an error message appears: There was a problem with your order. Please try again
I have provided over 20 different customer screenshots showing the error and other sellers have contacted me stating they have the same problem and yet we are still not take seriously. 3 days with absolutely no orders. Who knows how many other sellers have been affected. We only know if a customer contacts us.
Please help etsy, I know you do not monitor the forums much but I'm lost and have no idea where to contact anymore.

Amazing update everyone. Etsy has just contacted me to say they have fixed bug. Yay! Happy dancing all over the studio at the moment. Whoop whoop.

Several days ago, as of January 11, 2023, Shop were unable to receive any payment at all.
Every customer cannot pay our shop at all. Not just some people seem to be everyone in recent days, unable to payment at all.
Would you please some one help me to see my problem about the bug at checkout and I will so appreciate if someone suggest me how this problem will be solve it .

I found the problem since 5 days ago and also chat with Etsy support to reported the problem ,at the begging they had checked my account and said my account is fine and asked me to check with my PayPal account and yes I had checked with PayPal , they said my account is no problem which can be received money without any problem .
I have zero sales since this problem happened ,my repeated customer had tried to contact us to report the problem because they love to place the order again ,but it impossible to order it since this problem .
About a week ago, I received multiple messages that customers were not able to complete check out. I tried checking something out myself on an alt account and had the same issue. I contacted support and the first couple people I spoke to advised that they don't show any reason why customers aren't able to check out and it must be on their end (yeah, okay.) Finally spoke to someone who tried recreating the issue and they too were not able to check out so it's been escalated but it's been over a week since I've heard anything.
Has anyone else had issues like this? It's worrisome since I have almost 5 years put into my store and hundreds of listings.
Unfortunately, intermittent issues like this can be difficult to track down, so it may take some time for Etsy to acknowledge the issue and put in a fix.
