Since we announced that we’re retiring the old listing form on June 25, we’ve monitored and listened to your feedback, especially about the features that you would like to see on the new form.

We’ve passed this feedback onto our team and are happy to share that by June 25 you will be able to:

  • Add manual translations to your listing
  • Enable your listing to appear on your Pattern site
  • Edit a private, custom listing in the new form
  • See and edit all listing states (e.g., inactive or expired listings) in the new form

We are also exploring further improvements to navigation and shipping profiles.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback, which is always a critical element in helping us make updates and improvements.

Sellers are also encouraged to leave additional feedback via an Etsy survey.

Etsy is officially retiring the old listing form as of June 25, saying the form is evolving into a new version with time-saving features - but sellers say new features don't make up for old features that are still missing as they worry about impacts of being forced to switch.

The announcement was posted in the Etsy Community today, with additional information provided in the Seller Handbook.

Etsy began rolling out the new Profit Calculator back in March but sellers said it was missing important information needed to be useful and is really only a "some fees calculator."

Sellers are also complaining that the new form does not appear to offer any way to manually translate their listings anymore, leaving them stuck with Etsy's sometimes lacking automated translations for some languages.

The new listing form has been in Beta for some time, and while many of the bugs have been worked out, others still remain - like long standing issues for non-US sellers who use the domestic pricing tool to charge taxes correctly or to offer free shipping to the US reporting the new form causes prices to be incorrect.

International Buyers Paying Domestic Prices
I have different domestic and international prices set up on multiple of my listings so I can provide free delivery. About a week ago, I noticed I had received two international orders where the buyer’s had both paid the domestic price. This is a major issue for me as the domestic price doesn’t even…

Hi, UK seller here, I use the differential pricing for domestic and overseas and I had this issue last summer.

For me it was an issue when using the new listing template on the desktop site, the overseas pricing simply wouldn't stick and overseas buyers were paying the domestic price. I have found that using the old listing template on the desktop site eliminates the issue. I haven't used the new version since.

I hope this may help some of you still having this issue.

Of course at some point Etsy will likely remove the old listing template from use so hopefully they will have fixed this before that happens!

What do you think of the new Etsy listing form? Are their features or functionality you'll miss or things that don't work as well as the old version? Let us know in the comments below!
