Ex-Silicon Valley Bank Employees Sell Swag On eBay
Silicon Valley Bank's spectacular collapse has dominated the headlines the last few days and now ex-employees are making the best of the new found notoriety, selling corporate swag on eBay to the highest bidder.
This "authentic employee owned" mug (not backed by eBay's Authenticity Guarantee ๐) says "At SVB we speak and act with integrity"...I'm sure some employees have some choice words to say about that slogan now.
A "historic" tumbler and bottle set has received 18 bids and is up to over $150 in just 3 hours.
And who doesn't need a $250 "lightly used" meat and cheese board?
So far eBay has not made any comment on any possible exposure or fallout they may incur due to the collapse.
Poshmark and Shopify were both quick to put out statements to try to calm seller fears and Etsy sellers panicked on Friday as some regularly scheduled payouts were delayed due to funds being tied up in Silicon Valley Bank.
