eBay Category Changes Slated For October 24 Moved To 2024
eBay is pushing back category changes that were announced in the Fall 2023 Seller Update. The changes were originally supposed to take effect October 24th, but now two days after the deadline, they have been put off until some unspecified date in early 2024.
eBay issued an announced in the UK community to advise sellers of the change.
We wanted to let you know that we’ve decided to move the category changes announced in our September 2023 Seller Update from 24 October 2023 to early 2024.
There’s nothing you need to do - just enjoy a successful holiday selling season. We’ll be in touch when the category changes take effect.
There has been no similar announcement in the US community yet, but the category change page now has a banner that says:
Latest category changes moved to 2024: We wanted to let you know that we’ve decided to move these category changes, announced in our most recent Seller Update, to early 2024. There’s nothing you need to do—just enjoy a successful holiday selling season. We’ll be in touch before the category changes take effect.
