Marketplaces
eBay
eBay has issued announcements pausing sales to Israel effective immediately with for the US and Canada.
Due to the current conflict in Israel, most major US shipping carriers are experiencing disruptions in service into the country. eBay is temporarily pausing sales from the United States to buyers with shipping addresses in Israel as we cannot ensure that these packages will reach their final destination.
We are closely monitoring the developments and will update you as soon as soon as we are able to resume regular operations in Israel.
You may be concerned about shipping delays for items already shipped. If you recently shipped an item to Israel, eBay will automatically protect your seller performance, including:
- Your late shipment rate
- “Item not received” cases due to late delivery as long as you uploaded tracking before the case was opened, and have a physical scan from the carrier
- Service metrics for open item not received cases
- Negative and neutral feedback protections.
If you have recently shipped an item using eBay International Shipping, you are automatically protected once we receive your item at our domestic shipping hub.
As the situation evolves, we will provide updates as needed.
eBay UK and Australia have posted statements saying there may be shipping delays, sellers will receive protection for late shipments and INR cases and delivery estimates will be extended, but stopping short of actually pausing sales.
Recent events throughout Israel may be impacting parcels in and out of affected areas. However we're here to support you and keep your eBay business running.
We’re implementing measures for sellers sending items to Israel. These protections apply to transactions from September 24th until further notice:
We will automatically remove your Late Shipment Rate defects and related Negative or Neutral Feedback received for transactions between the above dates.
Your Item Not Received (INR) count in Service Metrics, along with any related Negative or Neutral Feedback, will be removed automatically for transactions between the above dates. To be eligible, upload valid tracking before the estimated delivery date.
We’re also extending onsite Estimated Delivery Dates for affected areas to manage buyer expectations and give you more time to fulfill your orders. Keep an eye on the announcement board for any further updates.
Notably there is no announcement in the eBay Germany community at this time, though it's not clear if that means the same policies have not been applied to eBay.de.
