PayPal Experiences Major Outage, Multiple Systems Impacted 11-21-2024
PayPal is currently experience a major outage impacting multiple systems and products for users across the globe.
Users are reporting inability to log in to their accounts and the PayPal system status page confirms the widespread outage is impacting Account > Withdrawals, Online Checkout > Express Checkout, Crypto, Xoom > Receive Money, Venmo > Credit Card, Crypto, Payment Request P2P, Receive Money P2P, Send Money P2P, Instant Transfers.
A reminder specifically for eBay buyers and sellers: when eBay's systems cannot communicate with PayPal's API due to these types of technical issues, it may cause PayPal to temporarily be removed from listings and checkout as a payment option.
Don't panic if that happens - it does not mean eBay has stopped accepting PayPal!
