eBay appears to be laying the groundwork for an enhanced ad revenue cycle by positioning the breadcrumbs at the bottom of the page. This move seems designed as a potential precursor to a US rollout of its Germany-style attribution model, one that could transform each additional ad impression into incremental fees through a self-reinforcing feedback loop.

By moving the breadcrumbs (a critical navigation element emphasized by many users) beneath eBay's ever-growing shoehorning of competitor promoted items in paid eBay listings, eBay is effectively introducing deliberate friction into the user experience requiring them to scroll through countless ads before they can access essential product details.

In practice, this new layout does more than merely guide users to information. It converts every scroll into an ad impression generator. Each additional ad exposure is not simply incidental, it's (likely) part of a calculated strategy to maximize ad visibility and, by extension, increase the likelihood that even minor, peripheral ad interactions will eventually contribute to sale attribution.

After all, someone’s got to help top off the coffers...those legal bills don’t pay themselves.

While I use seller initiated offers, I don't use the automation. I like to have control of when they are sent, for how much, and for which listings. I just wanted to verify that none are set up for the automation, so I tried to follow the instructions. It says: "In the Search section, select the All statuses dropdown and filter for "With offers sending automatically". I don't see an "All statuses" dropdown and I don't see a filter for "With offers sending automatically." Ever since they reconfigured the filter options, I sometimes see things and sometimes don't. Very frustrating, but then again, it is eBay!

No viable reason to move the category. A user isn't looking for more ads, they are getting frustrated with the never ending reduced functionality of the site. Is their goal now to just get rid of all categories?
