Gift Mode is a "fun gift finder that will suggest the perfect presents based on the occasion, the person's interests, and more" according to Etsy. It uses answers to a few simple questions, and a little help from AI, to create curated gifting recommendations.
Shortly after publishing this article, Etsy redirected the link to the existing Gift Guides page, suggesting this was an unintentional early launch failure and may in fact be the big secret we're all waiting for.
Amazon book sellers were sent scrambling this week when they received very short notice of new restrictions on listing seasonal books for sale on the site.
